How long are you in the hospital after a Hysterectomy?

With no complications usually 1-2 days. With complications the stay could be up to a week.

Depends on hospital policy - here they send you home the same day, provided there were no complications.

my mom had one of those in september of last year.. she stayed for 3 days.. but she could barely walk.. and sumthing happened at the home. so she had to go bak to the hospital for a few more days. but she almost died.. becuase her blood count was 6.. and they were lookin at her strange and sayin how are you still alive? cuz the blood count is suppose to be 11.. and they said if she doesnt get the blood transfusion she will have heart failure. but when you do get a blood transfusion you can get heart failure.. so she had to do it.. and she was fine. :) so yeaa. if your gettin that i hope you do well!

My mum had one a couple months ago and she said it depends on how you’re feeling. 20 years ago you had to stay for 10 days but now if you can walk to the toilet alright then they tell you you can go home ‘cause they need the beds.
