watch tv
watch a movie
dress up for no reason, looking good makes you feel good
talk to someone
swim
shower
go to sleep
just anything that makes you feel good and helps you forget

Dear gidalani,
Until you get at the reason for your anger you will always have a problem. Some of the techniques mentioned are good, some not so much. Never punch, hit, yell etc. if you have a tendency to being physically aggressive. These just make it worse. Journaling is great so you can find out when the times are you seem to be angry and perhaps at who. But until you actually find out why you're angry using techniques are just a cover up. Seek out a counsellor who can get you started on the path to figuring it all out.
