Living a lie?

The username says it all. Asked by the_anti_prep 2 months ago, 4 answers.

Do you think that in reality a parent would keep it secret if they adopted their child?

The reason why I ask is, I've been doing some research. My father is of African American decent and has dark skin, my mother is really pale and white and she's Portuguese. White skin is a recessive trait so I should have looked had my father's skin tone, and yet my father has green eye's which are recessive and my mother has brown eyes which is a dominant trait so I should of had brown eye's instead. Plus I have blonde hair and neither of my parents, grand parents or great grandparents are blonde. both of my parents are genetically stronger than I am due to the region they came from their dna adapted so there bodies would be much stronger naturally, mine isn't. On both sides of my family the average age when their daughters hit puberty was 16, I’m 13 I had my period at twelve. Lastly every time I go to a family party I could always see at least one person whispering to other person while looking directly at me, I find that suspicious.

DNA is complicated, kids come out light looking all the time, sometimes even a couple of generations later... My cousin has green eyes, neither of his parents have green eyes, only his paternal grandmother does... I wouldn't jump to conclusions...
