Lip snake bite piercing

heyy, I was just wondering how many girls have a snake bite piercing. I just want some info because im planning on getting them:

1.) how much did it hurt??
2.) does it get in the way, like when eating and shizzle??
3.) does it look wierd on lasses??
4.)...

I dont have them but I do have some friends that have them and they tell me it didnt hurt at all. it's pretty high maintence though. so you will b looking at a lot of time to clean it. I dont think it looks weird I love all piercings. =] good luck!!

I had them a miss them =( they fell out.

1.)I hate piercing in the first place,I dont remember if it hurt when they where doing it.But after they where really sallown and it hurt.
2.)It doesnt get in the way if you get them in the right place.

1.)I got a lip piercing. I got it numbed and all I felt was a poke. Didn't hurt at all and I hate needles.

2.)At first it is in the way when eating etc until you get use to it, then you don't even realize it's there after a short amount of time.

3.)I don't think so, I love piercings. But it depends on who, how many and where they are located.

4.)*DONT: touch it too much, get makeup in/on it, get it done unprofessionally, let other people touch it etc.*

and if I could change the past I would have gotten a lot less than I have now

1.) how much did it hurt??
not much, it depends on your pain tolerance but its nothing you cant handle
the process is simple
they clamp your lip, stick a hollow needle through, then thread the jewelrey through the needle

2.) does it get in the way, like when eating and shizzle??
it can, but after a while you get used to them and dont really notice them

3.) does it look wierd on lasses?? not unless there little girls who dont need peircings, or people wjo went out and got one for stupid reasons like to show off or be cool
and no, they dont look good on everyone
but because everyone has there own personal opinion
some people will think they look good on you
and other people will think they look ugly on you
so dont get them unless YOU actually want them

4.) dangers??
first you need to be 16 to get them done without a parent
if your younger than 16 you need to bring a parent with I.d to consent to it and sign a form
and if your around 13-14 I you shouldnt be getting a peircing at all

facial peircings affect a few things
if you have a school with a dress code they wont allow them
and most jobs consider them unatractive and unprofesional
so unless you take them out finding a job can be difficult

lip peircings can affect your gums and teeth if there constantly tapping or pressing on them, they can end up chipping your teeth as well

you shouldnt take it out or change it for at least 3 months so it can heal, and tyou shouldnt kiss anyone of do oral sex for that time too because it can easily get infected

and only get them if you want ythem
not to be cool, to show off to other people or because you think boys will like you more
remeber that not everyone will like them on you too
and if you dont get your parents dont allow them theres really no point in getting them now so its best to wait untill your a bit older

3.) does it look wierd on lasses? Not at all. Piercings are for guy OR girls. ANYONE can have ANY piercing. Their body, their choice.

4.) dangers? Infection *if it's not done professionally and/or not taken care of*, under age piercing *if your under 18 in the USA, you'll need a parent/guardian with you at the time it's done so they can agree to what's going on. If your not from the USA, call a local piercing place and check on the age limits*.

You really shouldn't have too much to worry about as long as you have it done professionally and you take care of it. But if you'd have any questions or concerns, you could ask a professional piercer in your area. I'm sure he/she would be glad to help you out and answer your questions.
