If you wear a tampon, do you need liners? Like whats the deal with that? Explain as much as is known because I have no freakin clue.

No, you should need no backup when you wear tampons. If you buy the right kind, you should be confident for at least 8 hours without worry of a leak. Try Playtex Sport or Tampax Pearl if you are worried about leaks. Playtex are small and comfortable and will not let you down if used correctly. Don't get too much of an absorbency or you can get Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). Stick with Regular until it is too heavy to absorb. Sorry if this is gross but it is true!
