Why does light skin b lack people seem to be prettier than dark? Im in the middle but sme people still call me dark because im not as light as beyonce or halle berry pretty is pretty I think im shmexy no cockkiness there bt I have confidence so why are...

light smkinned blacks called prettier and more liked and judged better thn darks? Boys go for the light ones the most why?
and thuis is off subhect but its weird how light people evn if theyre fullt=y black seem to have longer hair /eyelashes arms legs everything hair grows on than dark and faster growing hair at that I wonder because im not dark and im not light im in the mid and my hair is from my dads sde slows as bricks while my sis who get is frome my mom who is famly is indian and light skinned mostly has thick long hair and this is nasty but got hair on her vagina at a yunger age than me its prbbly because my hair grows slow like I said but I just wonder and yeah in my opinion light iws better than dark-I dont treat them a hole lot different I think htier prettier tho because thts what boys and girls and the world has taught me I think light skin boys are sexy and light skin girls are more likely to be pretty im pretty ill post pix soon and im not light so sum people are and sum people arent whats your opinion on this matter lights are treated better yes or noi say honestly yes and life would be easier if I was light more boys would like me more people would call me pretty because people only notice light skin people first not dark I want to be treated the same but im not evn tho im not dark im in the middle tell me your thots.

I reallly dont care about the lite dark and dark issue because you know we are still black as you can see im not really dark but im still will be called as black.. everyone is beautiful,dont see beautiful in skin tone..notice some dark models..and im proud to those who are carrying their color wit pride..equality,peace and happiness

people that thnk lite skin is better or dark skin is bettr when each are beautiful are just pure ignorant.. I go to a basiclly all white school. as you can c I guess you wud say I have dark skin.. but I luv it, so thats all that mattrs.. you say that you have confidence and urself so show it... being the only blak person is smtimes hard, but bc I know that im pretty, and that I LUV my dark skin other people luv it also. bc I had confidence and my self going into a new school I out shined most of the gurls and my grade... I have a sister similar to urs but know one I k no has ever called her pretty w/o doing the same 4 me.. so the people your around are obviously stupid and ignorant. if you say your pretty, you know your pretty, and I cant amagine a normal person not liking u..

if you want to liven up your image wear make up if you don't already. a nice foundation, and matchng powder is good... covergirl I read is really nice. also try mascara, and mayb if you want xtra eyeliner... you sayd your hair grows slow?? well wear exstentions... even if people point you out the'll just b jelouse! go bac to school showng people that you r beautiful and that you know your BEAUTIFUL..

my mom is lightskinned and my dad is darkskinned. so I guess I came out with my dads color and my moms looks lol! im 15 and at times I can b very self conscience about my color b because all they show is white and light skinned on tv and the people they show are very pretty!so their are times I wish I were lighter but I have 2 realize all shades are pretty and have pros and cons!=)

I love dark skin. I'm a african american and brazilian. I honestly don't want to be light-skinned. Dark skin looks more exotic to me, sun-kissed mocha. You don't hear of this nonsense in my country. I really do not care. dark-skin, light-skin is nothing to be ashamed of. western society standard of beauty??? bull.

Im brown skinned and I luv my color!!! I get a lot of dudes but when im with my friends at school it seem like all the dudes go for them and not me because they LIGHT SKINNED and they cute but they aint FYRE like people say they is (im not hatin) but personally I think I look better than them

I have witnessed that tradition so many times. I really notice it on tv shows such as who gets the seemingly lead role the most, a dark or a lighter skin complexion personality. A perfect example stands out for those of us who are familiar with the two families:the Evan's, the Jeffersons.

How would it look if the two families positions were reversed. The Jeffersons were poor and the Evans were wealthy.

what about pretty dark skinned people with good hair? we don't get acknowleged. But I use to want to be darker because I had two friends who were dark skinned one with curly hair, and one with straight hair to her butt. They were both very pretty.I was a little lighter with a little more nap to my hair so I use to feel insecure around them.
