Asked by unihybrid over 2 years ago, 5 answers.

Can parents extend the age of when a child is considered an adult from 18 to 19? Am I still legally considered a minor if they have, even after turning 18?

In some states you are still considered a minor at 18 until you finish school.

No. at 18 you are legally an adult. Your parents telling you this is a pathetic way to try to keep control over you longer than they can.
