Does the left brain have different function from the right brain?

Answer #1

I read a book called How to Learn Anything Quickly and all I really know about the sides of the brain is the left has everything to do with order. alphabetical, numeral etc. To function it needs everything in order step by step. Right has to see a big picture first then have everything broken down to function right. If the right side is in order it does not function like its suppose to.

Answer #2

Yes, it does. The left brain is more logical, and rational, and it looks at parts…not wholes. The right brain is more random, intuitive, and it looks at wholes…not just parts.

Answer #3

Yeah, the left brain is more analytical and critical thinking. It tends to rely on facts rather than “gut feelings.” The right brain, on the other hand, is more creative and artistic. Also this is kind of random, but you can [sometimes] tell if someone is lying by their eye movement. If someone is lying, their eyes will go right because they are “constructing or creating ideas”. When someone is recalling information, or telling the truth most times, their eyes with go left.
