Last year of high school?!

Well for the past couple of days I've been thinking about high school ending and it's kinda making me sad. High school was awesome! The people are amazing (well, most of them are) and I've had a lot of fun. But at the same time I regret a lot of...

things.
For example, for the first two and a half years I'd been hanging out with the wrong people, and by the time I realized that it was pretty much too late to switch groups ... and I haven't really been trying which sucks, it's hard because I know I have the potential to be great, everyone tells me that, but for some reason I don't try.

So anyways, this is my last year of high school and I'm really going to miss a lot of the people that I would only see at school, university is next and from what I've heard from people it's not going to be fun.

Being a teenager is supposed to be some of the funnest times in your life and I haven't had a lot of fun, I feel like I've wasted an important part of my life.
My next summer would probably be my last with the kids in my grade but I'm going to be spending it in Lebanon so I won't see them again.

What should I do or think about to keep me positive because this is really sad. I'm 17... getting closer and closer to being 18, life is going by too fast!

Keep in touch with buddies. Numbers, emails, myspaces, funadvices, etc.

thing is my life is confusing, I've got a lot people that I know that I have on like facebook and stuff, but I don't talk to them enough to get stuff like phone numbers, msn, etc.

I want to live life to the fullest, but first I need true friends ... I'm kinda shy :\

yeah, I need true friends... too! I'm going through the same situation as you do...But don't look back and reget 'because it's only making you waste your present time...
