How to get a laptop from my parents?

ok so I've been beggin my mom and dad 4 a labtop, and the keep sayin no wait till you really need it! and im like well I do, so then they told me to write 10 reasons why I need it (hey I know the 10 reasons thing is stupid ) they said if I did good on it then they would get it 4 me ! I did and my parents aggreed that they were REALLY REALLY GOOD!! but there still sayin no ! I dont know why any advice on getin a labtop from my parents???

Money doesn't grow on trees... but even if your parents were independently wealthy, it doesn't make a child very fiscally responsible if they always get everything they ask for..

Do you know how much they cost? Anywhere from $500 to $4000. What about working for it? Do you have any money of your own, money gifts from grandparents? If so, tell your parents you'd be willng to help pay for it. Can you earn money from babysitting or a small part time job? Can you offer to help your mother or father with extra chores?

Let me know if you need some ideas on the types of chores. I have no shortage of ideas :D

yeah labtops are expensive and if its not christmas or your birthday then just spending that much money randomly seems like a lot. My mom bought me a labtop and she saved up a lot for me just to get one because I actaully needed it for school. I suggest getting a job and earning it or buying a reprurbished labtop they are about half the price of a new one but work the same. Anyways put yourself in your parents shoes like buying a labtop cost so much money anyways good luck

okay to get a laptop from your parents you need it for school because the school computers are down. Even type a fake letter from your principal saying that everybody needs a computer for their own. if your parents ask questions like ' why is it all of a sudden you need a laptop' or ' why can't they just wait till the get fixed' say because they won't be getting new computers till next year or they might not be able to fix them or get new ones. they might request laptops for next so you need to be prepared! and if that don't work then give them the silent treatment.
