Know anything about bicycles?

I need to find a reliable, inexpensive bicycle (I wanted a beach cruiser, but I'm going to school in and cali so I need a versatile bike that can take on all the hills, bike trails, city streets and the beach!) Any style is okay. I am on a students...

budget so low price is ideal. I will have books, etc. so something that can have a basket thing on the back. I'm 5' 4, and a girl so pink is okay Thanks!

try wal mart...

maybe $120 will get you a decent aluminum framed bicycle from wal mart. There are a variety of lightweight luggage racks and baskets you can purchase to mount onto the bicycle. If you want to spend less than that, I reccomend looking around on craigslist, but try before you buy to make sure it works right, you can't usually tell by looking alone.

Look online for one. I have a retro style bike for $100 and its great for what I do its very simple

Try craigslist.org. It has sort of a bad reputation, but it's always been reliable to me. You'll find people nearby that are selling their old bikes, but their usually in pretty good condition.
