Jobs dealing with photography

My real passion is photography, im only 17 about to be 18, where could I work to get some experience at such a young age? I applied at Sears photo place and I even talk to a local photographer who has a studio and she cant hire me right now so, where are some places I can get some experiences...

You could continue it as a hobbie and get a job at walmart or a local camera shop selling camera's and developing pictures. You will get to know a lot about the qualities of different brands and see the newest models up front before everybody else! And you will have some experience with camera's also get to meet more photographers in the area and talk to tthem about working with them on the side.
