fast food joints... you should hand in an application and call at the least once a day, asking for the manager and asking that person about the opening and if they will set up a meeting...

If you are seriously needing the job, then you will get it. Well, it means, the desparation for anything can lead to success - infact you should be doing the best though to achieve it.

Be confident, have faith on urself, try presenting your positive aspects. Give assurance to your recruiter that you are capable and better than others in some way. You know better what they gonna ask you during the interview, right? then prepare for that. Throw away the negative thinking for few days, you can predict your future... Good luck for ihop.

The best thing I can tell you to do is be polite and Dont lie on the application!! Some how they alwase find out what your lieing about.
