Jesus is in the sky

How in the world people believe jesus flew to sky and numerous others like elijah krishna etc etc when there is not a single proof of the mankind.

Moreover for 4 billion years not even a mouse came from the sky then how any one will come back fom sky...

as there is no precedence and no historical fact that anyone came from sky. Is't it a total fraud

You have to wonder why the Bible depicts people going 'up' to heaven, considering it's just empty space up there. Is it just for dramatic effect?

Oh yah, the ancients who wrote those stories believed gods lived in the sky. If you believe that, then it would make sense for Elijah to fly up in a magic chariot, and for Jesus to float on up there (and back). It would make sense for angels to have wings too, so they could fly up and down between heaven and earth.

Even though modern religious people know heaven is not up in the sky, they rarely question these stories.

He rose in the sky? yes... But Jesus is supernatural silly.

FAITH! Sometimes you just have to take on faith what you don't understand. Have you ever seen hearts in the air when two people fall in love? Me either.

tori, why must I ever take anything on faith? I live my life just fine without ever intentionally resorting to faith.

The bible says he ascended into heaven, not flew into the sky. And remember when your entire reality is based upon chemical and electrical impulses interpreted through your brain then anything is possible. It's even possible that the sky is an delusion and nothing at all really exists.
