Jack-o-lantern decorations, am I going overboard on this one?

There isn't much to our jack-o-lantern decorations, as you can see - first we used a marker to make the face, then carved it out, and last, put in a candle. Should I do more to make the pumpkins look scary, or do you think the jack-o-lanterns are good & don't need any more decoration?

It's a bit hard to see that there are two jack-o-lanterns on your picture until you click on it. Maybe next time make a bigger face on the other one, so the light shines through better? The one on the right looks pretty cool, though.
