Itchy rash between my legs, it will not go away

I have a raw rash between my legs, it will not go away and have had it for 20 years. I have tried all kinds of creams, sprays, pills that the DR's have given me. Is this common in men?

Ok Partner,,, Got a solution for all you rashers that has worked for me.
I worked for a company where I repaired floor machines used daily in a rest home. I got this nasty rash thing that wouldn't go away.
I finally went to the Doc about it, explained where I felt I got the mess from. He gave me a script of some cream stuff which I still have 10 years later,,, but the stuff worked.
Go to your doc and ask him to prescribe (NDL-0083-0840-92) KETOCONAZOLE CREAM 2%, then follow the instructions therein and in a couple of weeks you will be rash free,,, good luck!
