I'm torn... personally I think Italian sounds prettier, but Spanish would help in Miami...

spanish because its more likely you will need to talk to someone who speaks only spanish other then italian and because I want to teach my son who is black and mexican and his dad hardly speaks spanish to him...

italian sounds better, but spanish is probably much more useful, no matter where you live. Italian is something that would be nice to know, but spanish will help you get jobs in the future...there isnt a huge demand for bilingual english/italian

I can speak spanish I know some italian
but I think because italy spain are close some of the words sound the smae like puta means Bit*h spanish in italian putano sounds alike .

Italian is the prettiest language I know of. That is why the prettiest operas are in Italian. Assuming you live in the US Spanish is far more useful though.
