An ISP is an Internet Service Provider. My own modem does not require a username or password to receive service, I instead use a router to protect the connection. A modem will usually auto detect ISP’s that are connected to your phone or cable lines. The rest is all software and the xbox should do that all for you. You may have some sort of setup defaults that need to be entered to start, but you probably won’t.
