What makes you people think that Islam isnt the correct religion?

islam has all the answeres...it is a perfect way of life...give it a go and read the quran or attend an islamic lecture...it gives you a reason to live ..

it's only small mided people that think that.

I'd turn it around and ask why Muslims think Islam is correct?

The way I'd put it: where you are born.

If you are born in a largely Christian nation (eg, USA) you're more likely than not to be christian. Similar, if you are born in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, if you are born in Bali, Indonesia (next island over) more than likely, you'll be Hindu.

Similar, if you're born in China, odds are, you're aetheist. If you're born in the bush in Africa, odds are, you believe in some form of Ancestor worship.

...so, doesn't the answer to the right religion largely depend on where you're born?

I think since Islam one of the youngest established religions, that its age can act as a blemish on its credibility... to some people...

IMHO, Three observations about this response (see below) from unknowngod (UKG) to filetspam - 1) UKG calls filetofspam, filetofsmal in an obvious effort to put him down or make himself feel superior - 2) the tone used is 'shove it down your throat' - 3) why the need to shout (capital letters), Islam claims it is the 'religion of peace' - this wouldn't be the 'forced conversion' method, would it ? - was anyone in Islam crucified (killed) and rose from the grave the 3rd day - death defeated - like Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Son of God did ? - never have been able to get an answer to that question...I suppose you'd call me an 'infidel' (fine with me) but it'd be far more accurate to call me 'a sinner saved by grace...Take care !!

why Muslims think Islam is correct?

1) a muslim must have firm belief in islam, only one God, prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and belief in the after life to accept Islam (as well as the other prophets, the angels and teh punishment of the grave).

Individuals that are born as muslims are taught the quran at an early stage which gives them sound proof that Allah is the one true God and the belief in one religion gradually (Islam) strengthens. Nowadays even scientists refer back to the Quran where they have discovered such information that had alreday been written in the quran with sound proof. many individuals that dont revert to Islam but firstly search thouroughly about all aspects of islam begin to see for themselves that this is a true religion and this is on the increase, Islam has become one of the first Most growing religions throughout the world.

To sum up, Muslims believe that Islam is the right religion for them because they have an answer to all their questions and it makes sense. I can recommend anyone Muslim or not, to watch videos of Dr. Zakir Naik, he is an individual who knows the Quran by heart Each verse, chapter and so on, he has researched islam thoroughly and can answer any questions as such in full and understanding. What is also unique about him is taht he not only knows teh quran by heart but the gospel, bible... etc all i can say is just watch his videos and all will make sense.

Well a lot of individuals have a lack of knowledge regarding Islam, and to add, Everything thats happend with the twin towers and the London bombings has given off a wrong exampe of islam, islam in no sense consents to suicide bombings or taking the lives of others, only Allah has the right, those individuals that carried out the bobings were individuals that were misleaded and were given false interpretations of the true meanings of the quran.

Before people begin to jude a religion, they shouldf first research for themselves and ensure that they are looking at the correct rsources because there are individual who write books about Islam and different aspects from their own opinions and beliefs which are false and misleading.

Because they're ignorant and beleive all Muslims are terrorists because that's what they say on T.V. Even though extremists only count as 1% of the Islamic population and what they're doing is killing and igniting fear and hatred against Muslims and Arabs so they really are not following Islam properly because Islam does NOT teach hate.

I have to go with filletofspam on this one...why would anyone think islam is correct?...half of you are terrorists, which is actually taught in mosques as it has been on the news...and also you try converting other religions into muslims and force islam on other people...to be honest I dont think anyone except muslims actually like the religion and the people from it (no offence) but thats just the image muslims have portrayed for themselves, and not just terrorists but other normal class muslims.

If you can put the proof that islam is the onli religion with absolute and logic proof, then I will put my hands up and say I was wrong, but you still worship a god!!! and there is no proof in any religion that god excists! hes like father christmas, a god (any god) onli excists in those who believe in him!!

if the islamic religion is the onli correct religion then surely your allah must believe in peace on earth? well surely it wasnt your gods will for the islamic community to want that teacher in sudan executed for naming a teddy after the boy in her class who also has the same name as your beloved prophet!!!
