Is this tax disproportionate ?

Will the upcoming Obama tax raise on cigarettes April 1 of .62 per pack (bringing it to around $5 per pack in Indiana) disproportionately hit low-income workers ?

Yes- tax is high enough already. Why are they putting it up even more? The government like taking everyone's hard earned cash don't they.

Keep in mind by getting these smokers to quit by taxxing them more, you are taking nearly 8 billion from federal tax and 13 billion from state. Where are they going to get the money from next? Us, so just enjoy it while you can.
