Is this pc good for games?

2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x4GB
ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512MB

Is it gonna be good for some serious gaming?
And is it future proof; I.e. will I have to buy a new PC in a few years because the games get too...

demanding?

its a great gaming computer. everyone on earth has to buy a new computer in a few years. games will alywas be demanding

OMG, That computer would be beautiful for gaming, you make me jealous. Yeah it will be obsolete soon, but it still will be the best of the best out there for awhile, and I don't think games will be too demanding of your computer for at least 4 years..

15 gb is a bit overboard;
the Quad cores aren't that necessary either. If you custom build your computer via an online site, (newegg.com, NCIX.com) you could be saving some crucial bucks that could possibly go towards cooling incase your computer ever overheats, etcetc
