Is this funny or offensive??

Would you find this potential commercial funny or offensive? My sister said the yelling at people would be degrading and not laughed at by women over 40...

The product is replaced by the word product to protect the innocent in case this is not funny. ...

My opinioin - I think it would be downright funny. What grandparent has wanted to probably chew out their grandchildren or let their step daughter know how they feel, whether they are right or not...

Grandmother walks into the living room:

“Hi. My name is Winifred. If you’re a grandparent like me, then we probably have something in common – our love and pride for our grandchildren. However, you may also be like me in that your Son is too lazy to visit more than once a year, and the only reason he does visit is to escape the subzero temperatures up north. And your also probably tired of all the sand those little monsters track everywhere they go, the balls bouncing off the China Cabinet, and I won’t even get into what goes on in the bathroom.

So, I’d like to share with you a product that helps me through the 360 days of the year when I don’t get to enjoy my grandchildren – Product.

“Charles – do you see this? This is decorative soap – meaning you don’t use it! There is a bottle of soap right next to it! And do you see this - it is a toilet seat, and it raises. So, quit peeing on it, and how about you quit peeing all over the floor!”

Sometimes, its good to let loose some of your feelings. And, if you have a Product of your son or step daughter, then it may come in handy also…

“Do you realize what you are feeding your children? Chips, pop, candy – what kind of a mother are you. And how about you treat my son with a little bit of respect. You sit at home all day doing absolutely nothing while he is out working! Why don’t you try cooking a decent meal for once in your life!!!”

“Oh, Michael. I told you never to marry that woman - you deserve better. Have a little pride in yourself – don’t let her talk to you like that. And, how about you call more than twice a year – once to let me know when you are coming, and once to tell me Charles forget his Nintendo DS.”
