Try lots of vitamin C ( at least 2000 units)combined with 3-4 garlic oil capsules several times a day.( Gets rid of a sinus infection fast !) Drink plenty of warm water to flush any toxins out of your system( 1/2 your body weight in ounces) EX: 150 lbs.=75oz. Sometimes cold symptoms are really toxins that just need to find an outlet.
Theres nothing you can do to get rid of a cold. Just take tylenol and keep doing what you're doing. I wish I could give you more sugesstions, but there really aren't and you seem to be doing fine on your own anyway. What you should do though is drink lots of orange juice, because the vitamin C is supposed to help fight colds and sickness. You also need to mak sure to get enough sleep, but I'm sure you're already doing that. Don't strain your body to much and use a hot water bottle, if the cold lasts longer than a week, call your doctor imediately, it could be something else.
well I always fined that filling a pan up with boiling hot water and hanging your head over it with a towle on your head works, it sweats it all out makes you breath a lot more easy and all so good for your skin
Vitiman C will not help you get better. You have to let your antibodies work and help your immune system get rid of the virus. Drink lots of fluid, get a lot of sleep. Take vitiman C after you get better you should be fine

Is there an easy way to get over a cold?
Send me Fun Mail
My nose has been running, body aches, pains, the works. Is there an easy way to get over a cold? The symptoms, really. I have work to do, can't afford to take time off, and feel generally miserable - have for the last three days. Any tips or ideas appreciated.
(have been taking dayquil & echinacea tea, but not a lot of help so far).
