...and WHO did you give the name to?
If you said it in a derogatory way, some might consider it racist, but ya know, all of this "political correctness" these days is starting to wear a bit thin, in my opinion. Seems you have to watch EVERYTHING you say so as not to offend anyone.
Sports teams have had to change their names because some people felt the old names were 'racist.'
Once upon a time, the word 'gay' just meant you were happy.
Even some old television show titles would not be acceptable today - 'Leave it to Beaver' for one. Hah! Ward Cleaver comes home from a long day at the office and as he walks in the door, he says to his wife, "June! I'm home! Where's the Beaver?"
OMG...the television censors would have a hissy fit!
me and my friend were trying to think of a nickname for him and I said "we'll name you... pablo!"
Doesn't sound racist to me...
Depends. It is a spanish name. Did you call a mexican kid that? Also, did you say it in an offensive way? If you did than maybe you are. I think that everyone is in some shape or form racist.
It doesn't really sound racist...I always thought as Pablo as a name for a penguin..haha depends who and how you said it though.
I make jokes like that all the time to my spanish friends
its not racist its like I don't know...sarcasm I suppose
racism is something thats in the heart and soul (a dark one..)
thats why it IS a joke not serious

Is the nickname "pablo" racist?
Send me Fun Mail
cause I got called a racist for nicknaming someone that
