Is something wrong with me to make my period so long?

ok so I've been bleeding for already about a month here and there..it stops then it comes back...I had cramps and everything! is this normal I dont have medical insurance but im sure there are places I can go to...im just freaking out!

Chances are there is nothing seriuosly wrong with you, You just may need to be put on a birth controll pill (horomone) to help you regulate each month. That is what I do. If I am not on the pill my period is all over the place., I will spot for 1 month straight then not get it at all for 3 months , It's crazy. But you def should go see a Dr. There is a place called planned parenthood where they have doctors and do exams and can get you on the right pill for very cheap. What you have is called menorrhagia. I agree with the posting above because that is exactly what I had to do to cure mine. I've found that stress actually makes it worse. So don't stress out; just get on the pill.
