How is my friend claiming to be straight?

I have this friend who is the same sex as me and we have messed around for 5 years she claims to be straight and im curious to know if thats a cover up because she is very religous.

This happens a lot. But let me ask you this... does her claiming to be straight bother you? If so, why? Some people believe that the actual act doesn't make you gay. She may not be ready to come to terms with the fact that she is. Not to mention, she may not be gay, just as she claims. I'm sure it makes it all the more difficult that she is religious. Give her time, whats the rush for a label?

It's certainly possible that she is gay or bisexual but denies it. Tough to say since we can't read her mind! If you really want answers, your best bet would be to talk to her about it.
