Is it uncool not to wear brand name clothing?

all mi friends wear abercrombie and hollister and I dont. is it too uncool

Personally, I think wearing clothes that are overpriced JUST because their brand logo is stamped all over them, is kinda toolish and very generic.

U DON'T HAVE TO WEAR HOLLISTER AND ALL THAT STUFF JUST TO BE COOL JUST WEAR WHAT EVA CLOTHES THAT SUIT U

Especially if you are still in junior high or high school this always seems to be an issue, but truly just be CONFIDENT in what you wear. As long as your happy and comfortable, dont worry what others think!

it depends how old you are and where you live. I mean when I was 12 and I used to live in a rich-white small town it was all about the brand names. but when I was 3 and moved to a different environment with more cultures and such brand names really didnt matter.
hollister and abercrombie do have some nice things though. wait till they have a sale thats what I always do

You know what I never wore the 'cool' things either I still dont. Be confident in who you are and don't let anyone bring you down. You don't have to spend a sh!tload of money on clothes that you will wear for about 3 months bfore you have to throw 'em out because they aren't in style anymore its the biggest waste of money. Who cares what you wear... Go naked if you want lol. Just be confident and don't worry about what others think

I dont either, just wear things you like and add your own pizzaz. I dont wear name brand but I have ACCESARIES, thats my thing and people are always waiting to see what bracelet or earings or rings im going to wear. see, just pick something you love, it could be anything, and add it to all your outfits somehow and youll be rocken'!
