Why do some people just look bad in pictures?

is it me or am I trippin some people look ugly in pix or cameras but in person they look real good because thas me I look real ugly in pix

Some people look good in pictures they take themselves (me for instance) and horrible in pictures that others take. Some just look bad in photos altogether. But it doesn't matter. Some are just more photogenic then others. Dont let this get you down.

No its nt only u, I know of a lot of people who look really sh*t in photos, but they are really not bad looking in real life...

I think it's to do with how much you relax - my mum and I tense up when someone's going to take a photo, so we look bad. If someone gets a snapshot of us when we're not expecting it, we have a better chance of looking good. My sister used to practice for what seemed like hours a day, looking in the mirror to discover her best angles etc. She learned how to look great in photos.

good Question. The snapshot it usually takes, may become blurry, or might ruin, or maybe you might not expect it, or be to worried about it. Try relaxing :D

As my mom says if you are beautiful your photo will be bad (ugly), if you aren’t beautiful (that’s not mean ugly) you will look good in a photo.

Well, usually if someone takes the photo themselves then they will like it (that is why they took it, because they think they will look good) but in group photos taken by other people always look at themselves and find themselves standing out but to others they probably don't look that bad. I think that everyone can get good or bad photos, but it depends a lot on the other things in the picture other than the person.

I look bad in pixs too. I think it is because some people look better with the action.

I hate pictures. I always hide from them if possible. I don't take pictures unless I really need to. And to your question... I'd say because some people don't deploy the same amount of confidence as usual in pictures. They like unsure of themselves. What goes on in their head is like: Ugh gotta look good. Or something related like that. Or maybe it's a certain pose that just doesn't suit them.
