I don't think so, but the police have they're panties up in a bunch over the whole thing, so it might as well be.
You can be picked up and put in jail and have to go before the judge. The judge can order you to go back home and if you refuse he can award the state custody of you and you can be put in foster care. Usually that is rare but it can be done. If you can, hold out for a little while longer and you can leave without running away. Good luck to you.
I think so. I ran away. Cops came after me. Too bad they didn't find me
yeah and no depanding on your age but I really want to do it
If you haven't reached the 'age of majority', Yes - Smartest idea is to get that education and be prepared to have a good quality of life...Good luck !!
nah, I don't think so! if you're 14 and up I don't think it's a crime!!
yes if your parents choose to press charges .. you go to juvi for a while ... how long depending on the judge ..how long you where gone and whom you left with ... I have been throught that ... it is a crime form I think 10 to 17

Is it a crime to run away?
I mean seriously is it a crime? Seems stupid to me but seriously is it true that running away is a crime?
