Is ice cream bad for you?

I dont have a clue about these things.

I mean like, is it high in calories?

Surprisingly no..it hasn't got that many calories..depending on the flavour ect.

1/2 cup of regular ice cream is aproximately 140 kcal.

no like if you get lowfat icecream that's good.

ice cream is good for you, the only thing that contains most of the calories are the flavoring and the cream.
I worked at an ice cream parlor and we made all our ice cream from fresh fruits and extracts that didn't have a lot of sugar or no sugar. We used sweet cream to make it, which has some sugar in it, but wasn't too high in calories.

Ice cream is hardly healthy. The only thing that is even remotely healthy about it is the fact there is calcium in it. You can get the same amount of calcium from a glass of skim milk which has hardly any calories compared to ice cream. It is made of mainly of cream and sugar. if you want to know how many calories are in ice cream, have a look at the side of the container. it usually has a lot of saturated fats in it which are very hard to get out of your body and low fat ice creams tend to have a TON of sugar in them (not that ones that are high in fat don't)
