Is halo 3 worth the money?

I read some reviews and they say that the campaign is really short. Is Halo 3 really worth the money, just for the multiplayer?

...just for the multiplayer. If you don't do XboxLIVE, then rent it. Campaign Mode WAS too short, and the story SUCKED.

I liked the story I just thought the campaign was too short. The multiplayer is really fun I just played a buch with my brothers friends and it kicked a**. Get it.
