Is abuse allowed these days?

Do you think that just because someone calls themselves your father after marrying your mother allows them to be able to verbally attack you when they feel like it? Are they just automatically allowed to start hurting you when they are angry? Are you...

allowed to fight back? I'm confused at the rights of parents these days...I mean I know they are allowed to discipline, spank you, andget angry, but abuse is not allowed right? or is it today in society?

No abuse is not allowed. You need to first seek out the school counsellor unless you are being hit in any way then you must go to the police right now. Verbal abuse is just as bad but you can leave the room walk away and seek counselling and they can help you take the proper course. If he is hitting you then you can bet he is hitting your mother too when you are not there. Either way you must do something; you nor your mother should be exposed to this type of behaviour.

abuse is never allowed. and if your mother is allowing it that's messed up to. i don't really know to much about the realtionsh'ip of your household as a whole but i can completely understand if when you are being verbally abused you scream back. i'm sure i would do the same. especially if the man isn't really even related to you... how long have they been together?

hell no he should never be allowed to hurt you or abuse you. disciple you yes but not hurt you. you need to tell someone. does your mother no about this. you need to tell someone or call the police. i no exactly what you are going through i have an abusive mother. and no contact to my dad in washington. send me an update. dani xx
