Ipod touch sync

my ipod touch wont sync songs??? the sync button on my computer shows that it will and when I click it it it shows up on my ipod that it is syncing but only for 1 second? what do I do

Is that the same itunes account the ipod is synched with normally? And are you logged in under the same user account on the computer?

If so then it should work...if not, logout, login as the member who's account the itouch is synched under try again.
