how can i make my iPod nano sync to my computer?

it wont even say that i have my usb cord in the computer or anything. it wont wvwn charge on my dock. i just took it out of my car where it was pluged it to the radio…. can anyone help

Did you always charge it on the computer? It could be that the USB cable isn’t working. Visit http://funadvice.com/r/14nsmud979b (Apple website) on other reasons it could be not charging. The USB cable is probably damaged and therefore not detected on your computer, which means it won’t charge or sync. Take the USB cable to Apple and have them give you another one or you can buy one from any electronic store. :-)
