Is someone trying to tap into my computer?

is there someone trying to tap into your computer when you are reading your email and suddenly it start acting as if it has a mind of its' own

do you mean, like when it says, website found waiting for reply! and it keeps sayin that over and over a gain! because this computer does that all the time!

I think that a virus, trojan or spyware is what you are expeariancing here.

To know which one is infecting you, you must take certain precortions.

to deal with the virus -

check that you have a anti virus system installed on your computer and that it is up to date and working - run anti virus scans see if you can pik anything up.

to deal with the trojan -

Check you computer has a firewall installed, which is up to date and woring, check for any threats on it which you may have. - maby have a think if you have been on any un-stable websites latley which is where you may have picked up the trojan from. a trojan is becicly a program which opends up ports in your computer which enables out side users to gain access to your system easier.

to deal with the Spyware problem -

Spyware can be deleited using a anti spyware program which can be download off the internet. spyware is the most likley cause of this problem and can be delt with. but is rather anoying when facing this type of bug.

I think it is unlikley someone is trying to tap in to your system and have gained access. because if this was the case then the out side user would / can control your pc at anytime when its connected to the internet. again if you have firewalls / antivirus systems installed and up to date on your system this bring the risk of an out side user gaining access very slim.
