My hair is medium,wavy,frizzy,thick,and nasty!!

I need big time advice! I dont know how to do my hair! My hair is Medium,wavy,FRiZZY,THiCK,and NASTY!!! and I dont want to straighten it because that is what made my hair really disgusting.Also HairSpray and Gel is what made my hair like this.So what...

should I do???!!!

try conditioning it a lot and then spray it with anit-frizz spray
Or you could go to the hairdressers and ask them if they can recommend anything or get it thinned out happy
