Oh most definitley!!! Having babies are way exciting! It will take some time to let others hold your baby for a long period of time. A long period of time to me was 10- 15 mintues!!!

Oh no. She's just an infant still. No such thing, to me, as too protective. The first 8 or 9 months of my daughters life nobody got to hold her for more than 5 minutes! I wanted her back. Your a mama! thats your job.

I am pregnant now, and I'm 15. I honestly don't think I'll be real protective just because the people around me have had children of their own and are responsible. But, I don't think there is really a problem with you being that way. But, if it eventually turns into a habit, and once your daughter gets older and into her toddler years, it might not be a great idea. But she IS your daughter and you only care for her.

sadielynn: once that baby is born, you will be protective. I promise you. Once you see that little face and feel how good it feels to hold him/her in your arms, you'll never want to let the darling go!

Dawmathen - You are more than likely right. I know that if I am, I'll have to learn to let other people help me out too. It would probably help me out a lot. I really excited though happy

lol, I hold my boyfriend's sister's baby all the time. I'd just be scared if someone would drop my baby, or not hold his/her neck right, or lay her/him down wrong or choke her/him if they fed her. So... not a lot of people would probably be holding her/him. lol.
