Am i too young for a tattoo?

I am 16 ill be 17 in April and I really want to atart getting tatoos but I dont think my parents will allow it I LOVE tatoos I think they are amazing what do you think am I to young

I GOT MINE WHEN I WAS 14 NOW THAT IN OLDER I DONT REGRET THEM I JUST REGRET WHAT I GOT BE SURE you KNOW EXACTLY WHAT you WANT AND HAVE THEM DONE IN NOT SO NOTICEABLE PLACESD (EMPLOYMENT)
