How to get waves on my whole head?

yurp whats up...umm got a few ?'s about waves well first im white but my boys helped me a lil teey gave me they hair grease they used cause they said first I need to train my hair to lay flat and I pretty much got that donr and I kinda got 1 wave in the bac of my head but I don't know but im trying 2 get the hole head I no you gotta get some kinda cural activator but any one got an suggestions for me ?, I no the whole durag thing were you got to wear it on the daily an to brush a lot but theres a pic of my hair under this so it gives yall an idea ya dig
