Q: How to ignore the urge to watch porn?

A: Find an activity that you enjoy that will keep your mind off it, and when you feel the urge then do the activity

A: Well, first I think it's important to realize the fix isn't ignoring the urge, it's acknowledging it! Until you can acknowledge the desire and recognize it as sin, self-control will feel torture! It's a good idea to try to understand if there are triggering events that are avoidable. I know, woman can't be avoided! I'm talking about the stuff we can avoid that might trigger the urge. PRAY!! There isn't a better way to stop sinning than to talk to God and tell him why you think it's a good idea to disobey him! Good luck with this,I've never been able to come up with anything! Stay praying though! Ask for strength and freedom from that temptation! And then.... the hardest part! Don't watch porn!

A: pray. yeah. THATLL help. i agree with Sam, try to engage yourself in other activities so you dont think about it. Also, watching porn, in my opinion, isnt really all that bad a thing. i mean, if youre like addicted to it, thats a whole nother story. You shouldnt feel guilty. Thats what its there for right? For people to watch. Pretty much everyone does, or did. You souldnt feel ashamed. Also, id just like to note that my 'L' key isnt working right, and that this answer really p*ssed me off >.<
