the food has to go past there quarentine
if they dont allow the food, it wll be seized
if they do, your free to go
if you lie and say you dont have any food or dont tell them that you do have food you can both end up in jail and have to pay a big fine as well
its not something you can just take into another countrty
it has to be allowed in
if its not allowed in you cant take it
and hiding food in a suitcase with ice would not only look suspiciouse but the ice would melt quickly too
if you plan to take food with you you need to declare it all to quarentine
(tell them everything you have thats food)
or ask them beforhand what you can and cant bring into there country
