I live in the UK and I will be the first to admit that things like that are said. But I can guarantee that no matter what country you go to there will be people who will be racist towards you. Don't be afraid to come to the UK just because of that. If you want to come here to study then you can. It's your choice! Believe me, half of the poeple who live in the UK and were born here can't even speak proper english themselves

The above answer is right. Also, the people who say stuff like that tend to be the lazy idiots who can't be bothered to get a job, live off benefits and have no mind of their own so believe everything they read in the papers. Nobody with any sort of intelligence listens to them. They'll probably move on to some other group of people soon. In fact I think they already are, I think it's Polish people who are the current Source Of All Evil. *rolls eyes*
Don't be afraid to study here, most people aren't like them, especially those in further education. Like I said, it's generally the stupid ones who do nothing with their lives who have a problem. There were Arabs and Muslims at my college and as far as I know they never had any trouble.
