How can I get a job doing make-up ect. on dead people?
I would love to help out by doing the job.

I suggest you look into your local colleges and find out if they have courses for that

Call or go by your local funeral homes - ask questions - you may be permitted to observe applying makeup.

I want to work in the some field but not doing the make-up just being there I guess doing office or paper work.

Well, if you work as a mortician, you will have a lot more to do than just applying the makeup..you will also have to prep the body, embalm the body(which required draining the blood/fluids)
Wouldn't hurt to stop by a funeral home and actually talk to a mortician and get a 1st hands view of what is done.
