I think my cat is sick

im concerned my cat is sick because today he has had shallow labored breathing and has been sleeping for most of the day. he is also FIV POS and im worried it my be an infection in his lungs he cant fight. Im debating taking him to the ER tonite or...

waiting till tommorrow and take him to the vet. do you have any advice. he is a 2 year old male orange cat. thanks

If he has FIV, then I wouldn't hold it off - too risky. If you can get him in tonight, then do so.

If he has Fiv then all of your concerns are correct. He needs to see a vet and his lungs could be filling up with fluid. He's kindey's could be shutting down. Has he Peed today at all? Let us know how you make out, And I am sorry, but this may not be a good visit for you
