I smoke weed a few times a week

For all of you people who are knowledgeable in the field of medicine, please explain to me how bad smoking mary jane about twice a week can be.

Honestly, I don't smoke it and go by the factsthat its illeagal...thats enough for me, but I really don't think twice a week is going to hurt you. as long as thats all it is. otherwise, its an expensive habit and it makes you lazy, and I swear it makes you stupid and flightly. My sister smokes it a lot and I don't even think she is aware at how dumb it makes her. also I am sick of hearing about her money issues when I know how much she spends on weed. but I don't think twice a week is hurting you as long as its with friends, alone, but not around any kids...babies

Thanks for you honest opinion, I in fact do not smoke that much at all. Maybe once a month or so but that's about it.

then your fine. I have considerd trying it but I know I will like it so why start a habit I can live without? My sister has terrible back pain, pintched nerves and stuff and it helps her relax a lot but now she has a new baby and it pisses me off that although she goes outside to smoke, he still gets her secand hand smoke and the whole money thing. if you can afford it and its not effecting you job, personal life, etc...then who cares? your fine. I would just be honest with any doctor you see because that can effect certain meds and anethesias. its confidential anyway if you do tell them.

I would consider weed one of the most LEAST harmful drugs, but it does kill brain cells. Just watch where you get it from some people dealers like to lase there goods and thats really what is the most harmful thing.

its healthy and helps regulate everything in the human body
its patented as an antioxidant
smoke everyday for past 3 years I feel gr8!

couple reasons why it should be legalized:
-will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members
-medical reasons
-would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+)
-would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed
-prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders)
-keep patients from being convicted
-would provide millions of jobs for people
-would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help
theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions

- the War on Drugs is a failure, its a war on its own people. policies need to be changed
we pay billions in taxpayers money to keep the war going and neither side is winning
thats just a waste of our tax money

people were tortured, beaten, killed and thrown in jail but that didnt stop them standing up for their rights
