Why do i smell blood but theres no there?

Sometimes I can smell blood like my nose is bleeding or about to bleed and when I blow or whip my nose there is no sign of blood soo what could it be why do I smell blood but theres no there?

Hey that happens to me too, I've always wondered that but Im thinking because there is always blood flowing through there all the time and maybe thats why but I really dont know.
