I need to stand up for myself

I really need to stand up for myself.I keep letting people take advantage of me and stuff.Once,this bas*ard shot me in the eye with a hair tie.I was going to tell the main pricipal,but I didn't.Then,yesterday,I was sitting in MY seat on my bus,taking up the entire seat,with my feet up and everything.Then this blond chik came out of nowhere and almost sat on my feet.She said 'sorry Alyssa' and turned away.I was sitting in front of two guys that don't normally sit there.I don't really look around all that hard when I get on the bus,but I'm pretty sure there were more seats open around the guys I was sitting in front of.I was stuffed into the seat,crammed next to the window.She was sitting with her legs crossed,turned around to the back of the bus,forcing me to curl up into the seat,with hardly any way to get to my bag and my binder.I told my mom and she said that she would have said something.How can I be more like that?

You should of asked the girl politely if she could move over so you had more room, if you don't voice how you feel then you are more likely to be taken advantage of even more, and maybe that girl didn't know that she was making you uncomfortable, next time if it happens again make sure you tell that person.

well that's how I was at first but now im just standing up for myself if someone say move would you move I would say no why can't move do not let people take advantage of you ok

I used to be like that, but now I'm better at sticking up for myself. I find it easier to say things if you already have somethign planned in your head for those kind of situations like, 'Hey I need some space, please can you move over?' or 'That hurt. Don't do that again.' If they don't listen that's their problem, but the only thing you can do is make sure you don't let people step all over you.
