I need some help its about me and my friend

ever since last school year that just ended I feel like my friend is suffocating
me. andnow that its summertime I can tell he's going to want to hang out with me almost everyday. I've never had a friend like that who always wants to hang out, and I sometimes get annoyed by my friend when we hang out. don't get me wrong I love my friend, he's hilarious and all. but most of the time he just can't ever be serious. to top it off, he smells and I don't get why. lol. what should I do to get him to not be soo clingy, without being harsh. Usually when I want to tell a friend the truth, they take it too hard and I drift away from them.

Here's some useful things you could use... IF you see him strictly as a friend, you can talk to him about girls. Give him some pointers what girls like and such and that way he'd shape up his image and you'd have yourself a better smelling friend.

You are female and he is male and you are at the age that hormones are kicking in. He may want more than a friendship with you which is perfectly normal. If you don't feel the same way then you need to be sure that he knows this. Just do it in a nice way so you don't hurt his feeling s to bad.

I'm about 98% sure that he doesn't like me. and thats just wierd for me to picture him liking me, he likes someone else a lot still.
