Do I have time to get a job?

Well im 16, and I love going shopping, I spend like at least $40, a wk on just clothes and I still want more, neway my parents dont want to spend any more money on me, and I have to get a job, But im afraid to... I make straight A's, im on the track team, and I need time to hang out with my friends, im afraid that if I get a job my grades will drop, and I will end up quiting track, does neone have any suggestions, or comments about this one?

well its called sacrifice... stop shopping so much... you want to keep your grades, friends and track team and you dont want to work... then just be happy with 40 bucks!

Sell some unwanted clothes - us that money to buy new clothes then sell something else on... I dunno lol

im really sorry girl but im going to say it like it is,,, to solve your problem quit being spoiled! you know how many normal teen agers in america dont have half as much as you do!?!!? yet they get A's and are on teams and hang out with friends and have jobs that help pay the family bills
even if I didint solve your buy what I want evevry week problem I hope I seriously opnend your eyes to reality
what are you going to do when you get to college and get double the work and have to get a job?

im with confused. again, no offense, but your spoiled as hell! no one I know gets to spend that much! if I were you I would just cut back, how much to you really need??? $40 a week is fricking crazy! I spend $40 on clothes in about 4 months.

clothes or everything else? I would drop the clothes. sounds like your doing pretty good, I wouldnt jepordize that because of a clothes addiction.

work part time. I went to school full time, worked full time and kept my friends and I lived with my boyfriend. I did ok you just have to try harder.

lmao...well why dont you shop at cheaper stores...op shops and second hand stores are great. you dont have to buy and wear clothes that everyone else does

get a job at a place you like to shop. hopefully you'll get a discount on their clothes.
