I'm still crazy about my ex. But I'm leaving for 3 months ..

Alright I’m still madly in love with my ex. And she still likes me a lot but won’t show it.well we agreed on being good friends since I’m leaving for 3 months.But She keeps giving me mixed feelings like sometimes they are strong and sometimes she acts like it’s killing her to talk to me, even though she was the one who started the conv. .we agreed on not having a relationship because all her friends had boyfriend’s who’d be around and she didn’t want to be left out because he boyfriend wasn’t around.well I’m not going to be home as much as I would like because I’m in the usmc… But my question is what should I do? I mean I’ve been giving her space, and letting her do her own thing. Like I haven’t been talking to her as much, and not bugging her by txting ortalking to her. But The other day she txt me and asked me if I was mad or didn’t want to be friends anymore. I told her everything was all good, nothing was wrong, and that I wasn’t mad and still wanted to be friends. But it’s just all confusing. Like I don’t know how to get her back.. She just wants to be friends. And I’m worried that when I leave she will just find another guy because she doesn’t want to b left out..I know my stories all random haha but everything is so confusing I don’t know how to explain it..
